 FELLING  is simple and straightforward. Where the site permits, a cut at the base of the tree brings it down in a single piece. We take pride in immaculate clean-up.

SECTIONING the tree into pieces is done with a skilled climber using rope and rigging to cut pieces which are controlled and guided down by the ground crew so that any close-by trees and landscaping are not impacted. The tree sections can be chipped on site or removed for recycling. Safety is paramount; Blackhawk Tree's employees use all the safety equipment required by OSHA.

REMOVAL BY CRANE is needed when the site is not accessible or the tree is too massive to be safely cut and lowered by sectioning. The climber secures a cable with a hook around the portion to be cut; the crane then places the cut sections directly onto a logging truck for removal and recycling.
